Ryan Joseph Kinkle; of Orion; passed away suddenly on September 29, 2014, at the age of 34. Ryan is survived by his beautiful daughter Emma Rose Kinkle and her mother Lindsay Sarnik; dear son of Dennis Kinkle and Robyn (Don) Wilson; brother of Jennifer (David) Palmer, Jason (Erin) Kinkle, Jared Kinkle, Donny Wilson, and Nancy Wilson; and grandson of Wanda Kinkle.
Ryan was a member of Clarkston High School Class of 1999 and the Oxford Free Methodist Church. His daughter was his whole life and he loved Detroit sports and music. He will be terribly missed.

SEARIGHT, John Grant; of Clarkston; October 18, 2014; age 88; preceded in death by his wife June and son Wade; father of Greg (Connie), Randy (Susan), Scott (Naomi) and Kevin (Kristie); grandfather of 8; great grandfather of 6; brother of Marion Payne. Ken died unexpectedly in Rochester Hills, Michigan he is survived by his wife, Suzanne Evenson and his children Derek Jeffery, Jeffrey Evenson and Jody Evenson. Ken was born on November 13th, 1942 in Evanston, IL to the late Robert J. and Margaret “Peg” (nee: McGary) Evenson. He graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1963 with a degree in Business Administration and Communication. He married Suzanne Jeffery in 1988. He was a pioneer producer/director in standardizing employee training for McDonald's, Burger King, Kelly Services and many others. Ken and Sue have lived in Ortonville, Michigan since 1981. Ken enjoyed fishing, entertaining his many friends, doting on his kids and grandkids (Jack, Terra and Sam), and above all else, football. Ken will be remembered for his sharp wit, his sense of humor, his warmth, and his generosity of spirit. A memorial celebration will be scheduled for a future date in the Ortonville area. James Ulrich of Ortonville passed away suddenly at his home. He was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on July 10, 1952. On June 23, 1973, he married Theresa Milosic in Warren, Michigan. James was employed with General Motors as an Engineer for 37 years, and had a great love of life, family and friends. He leaves his loving wife of 41 years, Theresa Ulrich of Ortonville to cherish his memory. Also surviving him is his sister: Barbara (Paul) Guzdek of Sterling Heights; sister in-laws: Virginia (Glen) Weidner of Wales; Stephanie (Ivan) Kokotovich of Goodells; brother in-laws: Michael (Sandra) Milosic of North Port, Florida; Joseph (Elaine) Milosic of Clarkston as well as many nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother: Stella Ulrich. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Joseph Milosic on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, 12:30 P.M. at Lewis E. Marvin of Goodrich, formerly of Reed City, Kaleva and Ortonville, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon.
Beloved husband of Betty (Saari) for 63 years; loving father of Susan (Robert) Hauxwell, Marvin Jr. (Roxann), and Shelley (Harold) Hall; cherished grandfather of Brooke (Ryan) Humble, Christopher (Gina) Harrell, Andrew (Kassie) Usik, Robert (Leslie) Hauxwell, Chase (Jessica) Harrell, Fallyn, Macaella, and Bailley Foster and Hayden Hall, and great grandfather of eight. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Marvin was the son of Edward and Edna Foster and was the youngest of six. He was born in Ferndale and graduated from Kaleva High School and the Wilbur Wright Trade School in Detroit. Marvin worked in the tool and die industry his entire life and was the owner of Buccaneer Tool and Die in Lake Orion. Marvin was a Shriner and a Mason, an avid sports fan, and loved golf and hunting. His greatest joy was his family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., today, Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Bethany Lutheran Church, in Kaleva, with Pastor Ruth Overdier officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Grove Township Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, the Reed City Moose Lodge Scholarship Fund, the Ortonville Masonic Lodge or the Reed City Masonic Lodge.
