Henry of Goodrich is survived by his wife, Mary Trumble; five children, John, Rob, Jerry (Beverly) and Krist (Denise) Trumble and Sandy Rogers; one sister, Norma DeSantis; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Henry retired from Chrysler Dodge City. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy-Korean Conflict.
Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated July 3 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Atlas Township. Fr. Michael Kuchar-Celebrant. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Ortonville. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or the Michigan Humane Society.

Barnes, Allen Charles: age 83: of Lake Orion, Michigan lost his battle with cancer on Friday, July 18, 2014. Al was born in Akron, Ohio and was class president of the Buchtel High School class of 1949. He served in the Army during the Korean War and graduated from Akron University. Al had a lifelong love of the outdoors and fishing, a successful career in computers and banking and served his community as a township trustee. His devotion to nature preservation was showcased by his work to designate Greenshield Road as a Natural Beauty Road. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jackie and his brother Robert. He is survived by his children, Julie, David and Skip, four grandchildren, his brother Bill Barnes, his sister Marian Zehnder and his companion Donna Bradow. The family will receive friends at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Flint St., Lake Orion, MI on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 to 8:00 pm followed by a Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 11:00 am. Gabbard of Ortonville was born July 1, 1947 in Pontiac to the late Paul and Iola (nee: Deo) Gabbard. He married the former Lynda Simkins on December 11, 1965 in Ortonville. He is survived by his wife, Lynda; 1 son, Jack A. Gabbard, Jr.; two brothers, Robert (Barbara) and Don (Jeannette) Gabbard; two sisters, Brenda (Jeff) Straub and Janet Orcutt; also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Paul Eugene Gabbard and sister, Sharyle Dunn. Jack retired from GM-Orion Plant and was the sexton at Ortonville Cemetery. He was a member of the Iron Order MC. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2014 at Coats Village Funeral Home-Ortonville. Interment will follow at Ortonville Cemetery. Sinkler, Ken; age 83; went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 17, 2014. Ken was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Orion, served in the Korean War as a USAF Sergeant, retired in 1982 from Pontiac Motors and worked at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church for 46 years. He leaves behind his loving daughter, Diki Burns; grandson, Dwayne (Lisa) Badgero; brother, Harold; sister, Dorothy Kent; step-sister, JoAnn Treadway; and sister-in-law, Laura Sinkler. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Marlene; and his siblings, Donald, Ray, Verne and Shirley Range.
