Deacon Bernard C. Braun

Deacon Bernard C. Braun of Largo, Fl died Easter Sunday peacefully at home. He is preceded in death by his wife Norma J. Braun (Reefer), sister Delores A. Cusick, father Carl A. Braun, mother Dorothea A. Braun (Delaney), Joel Law, Jennifer Law, William Reefer, James Reefer.

He is survived by James Braun (brother), Carol Sheppard (sister), Barb Gleason, Ann Duncan, his children: Louis C. Braun (Victoria), Jacqueline L. Ernst (Peter), Lawrence E. Braun (Sheri), Dorothea Bawks (Ron), Helen E. Olsen (Rasch), Cynthia M Larkins (David), Bernard A. Braun (Shawn), Mary E. Harris, Maureen T. Wilcox Jones, William J. Braun (Dawn), 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

He was born June 2nd, 1927 in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was a Graduate of Shrine of the Little Flower High School in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, Graduate of University of Detroit and Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit, Michigan. He was ordained as a Deaconite of the Roman Catholic Church in October 1988.

He was a devoted parishioner of St. James Church in Ferndale, Michigan. He was a Deacon in service in Ortonville Michigan for 10 years at St. Annes Parish and also at St. Matthews Parish, Largo, Fl for the last 16 years. Past president of Lions Club of Ortonville, Michigan, Lifetime Member of the Knights of Columbus, past Vice-President of the Michigan Truckers Association, past Officer of Heavy Duty Truck Sales and Reefer Truck Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Age: 79
Grant, Sylvia H.; of Lake Orion; age 79; passed away April 20, 2014. Beloved wife of Herbert for 36 years; loving mother of Joseph (Mary) Savard III, Leslie (Bert) Lewis, Julie Savard, Michelle (the late Jamie) Perry, Julie Moyer and Kevin Grant; dear grandmother of Sarah, James, Phil, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Michael, Anna and Kristen; and special great grandmother of Emily and David. Sylvia is also survived by her brother Jim (Lynn) Feltz; step sister Karen Acree; sister in law Shirley Fraser; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was the sister of the late Judy Luchkovitz, Ron Feltz and Butch Feltz and Jack Crebassa.

Sylvia was very active as the treasurer of the Band Boosters, a founding member of the Orion Arts Center, and one of the Camp Fire Girls. She was one of many volunteers who helped prepare Rochester College for its opening in 1959. Sylvia loved to paint, garden, and spend time out on the water fishing.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion. BELCHER, BOBBY K. of Davison, suddenly April 19, 2014 at age 75. Dear companion of Kathy Boyce for 7 years. Dear father of David, Jeff (Sharon), Rickey (Michelle), Ray, Roger, Michael (Belinda) Kellie, Kendrick (Jenny) and Matt Belcher. Step father of Karla (Barry) Stock and Teresa Kotalik. DITMYER, SFC RAYMOND, of Davisburg, died April 17, 2014 at 43 years of age. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Raymond was dedicated to his country with which he was active duty for 24 years with the U S Army. John Themm

Age: 79
On April 17, 2014, thirteen days before his 79th birthday, John "Jack" Themm departed this life for a better place.

He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Ruth Themm.

He was Senor Jack, Grandpa Jack, father, brother and beloved husband. He started life in Pontiac, Michigan, graduated from Oxford High School, attended Ferris State University and recieved his radio and electronics degree from RETS in Flint. He worked at the Ford Test Center in Dearborn until retirement in 1989.

He married Eileen Franklin in 1955. They lived in Redford, where they raised their children. Upon retirement, they returned to Lakeville for summers and spent winters in Bonita Springs, Florida. He loved hunting and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Eileen; sister Caroline Themm; son Mark (Jan) Themm; daugther Kathleen Blackstone; grandchildren Ryan (Ksenyia) Themm, Jeremy (Megan) Themm, Dustin (Jenna) Themm, Brittney Themm and Melissa Blackstone; and great grandchildren James, Jacob, Daniel and Jaden.

Arrangements for cremation entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, Oxford.

A memorial service will take place at the Lakeville United Methodist Church (1422 Milmine) in Lakeville on Friday, April 25 at 11 a.m.
