FAHR, Lloyd C.; of Clarkston; April 13, 2014; age 81; Husband of Donna for 62 years; Father of Vicki Robertson, Stan (Dawn) Fahr, Steve Fahr, Barry Fahr, Tracy (Robert) Vostinar and Greg (Cheri) Fahr; Grandfather of 14 and Great Grandfather of 13. Lloyd retired from Pontiac Motor after 28 years of service. He enjoyed gambling, fishing and traveling. Funeral Service Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at the Lewis E. Alice “Trish” Wilson (Kyle)

Died: Saturday, April 12, 2014
Age: 55
Trish of Caro, was born Aug. 27, 1958 in Goodrich, the daughter of the late Joe and Alice (Mullen) Kyle. Alice was a 1976 graduate of Goodrich High School, and worked as a clerk at Thumb Meat in Caro for many years. Alice was “Grandma” to many, and loved all sports, including the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, Michigan, and enjoyed helping coach girls’ softball.

Alice is survived by one daughter and her husband, Alison and Jeremy Sprague of Akron; her siblings, Joe and Dona Kyle of Goodrich, Suzan and Richard Dexter of Garner, N.C., Cledith Shanahan of Waunakee, Wisc., David Kyle of Atlanta, Ga.; many special nieces and nephews, along with her four-legged grand-doggies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Kyle; and one sister, Donna Kyle.

A memorial service will be held at noon, Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. Gracie Langford

Died: Wednesday, April 09, 2014
Age: 88
Langford, Gracie; of Lake Orion; age 88. Beloved mother of Sandy (Bill) Mathisen; dear grandmother of Brad (Stefanie) and William (Ginger); and great grandmother of three.

Thanks to the Lake Orion Nursing Center 3rd floor staff for the great care Gracie received.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. The family received friends on Sunday.

Geraldine Lucille Duggan

Died: Tuesday, April 08, 2014
Age: 76
Geraldine of Goodrich, formerly of Lake Orion was born August 1, 1937 in Pontiac to parents Herman & Mildred (Wilson) Lawrence. She graduated from Pontiac High School, class of 1955. She married Paul Duggan on June 16, 1956 at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Pontiac. Geri was a secretary at the Will Rogers Elementary School in Pontiac for many years. Above all, Geri was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Geri and Paul were married for 57 wonderful years. Geri was one of a kind!

Geri is survived by her husband, Paul Duggan of Goodrich; son, Brad (Susan) Duggan of Ortonville; daughter, Cheryl (Frederick) Reichert of Lake Orion; son-in-law, David Degeneffe of Goodrich; eight grandchildren; sister, Linda Anthony of Rochester. Geri is also survived by many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by daughter, Paula Degeneffe; sister, Sandra Hainer and her parents.

Visitation will be held 1-4/6-8pm Thursday April 10, 2014, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Geri’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday April 11, 2014, at the Hadley Community Church. Pastors Wally Rose and Bruce Craner will be officiating. Burial will be in Green Corners Cemetery, Hadley.

Geoit, Evelyn May, Clarkston, MI Peacefully passed on Tuesday April 8th 2014 with family at her side at the age of 55. Loving mother of Carla (Chris) Reed. Cherished grandmother of Jacob Reed and Caitlyn Reed. Daughter of Edith Smith. Dear sister of Susan (Mark) Frank, Maxine (Jose) Munoz, Howard (Becky) Smith, Brian (Tena) Smith, Greg (Debbie) Smith, Jeffrey (Michelle) Smith, Mark (Carrie) Smith, and Candace Kuzmich. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by her father Howard Smith and Daughter Amy Geoit. Evelyn was very proud to work at Kelly Services for 35 years. Coleen Mersino

Died: Monday, April 07, 2014
Age: 55
Coleen Lee Mersino (Collins-Pearson), of Oxford, passed peacefully at her sister’s home on Monday, April 7, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 55.

Born in Detroit, Michigan to Merrill (Bud) and Yvonne Collins, Coleen graduated from Oxford High School in 1977.

She was employed as a waitress at Louie’s Food and Spirits in Lakeville.

Coleen is survived by her father Merrill (Bud) Collins, of Lakeville, sister Cherill Collins (Bernie), of Dryden, Nephew Kevin (Michelle) Haupt, of Dryden, favorite great aunt to Brandy Haupt, of Dryden, her furry companion Snickers, and many of her treasured friends, all of whom she loved dearly. Coleen is preceded in death by her mother Yvonne.

A special thank you to Julie and Crystal from Hospice Advantage for their kindness and compassion, and dear friends Della, Linda, Sandy and Debbie, who gave so much of themselves.

Coleen will be remembered for her zest for life, positive attitude and love for the slot machines.

Raymond Michael DITMYER

Died: Sunday, April 06, 2014
Age: 74
DITMYER, Raymond Michael; of Davisburg; April 6, 2014; age 74; Husband of Maryann for 45 years; father of Christopher (Tina), Raymond Joseph (Kathy), Joanne, Jayne (Jerry) Pierce, Debbie and Judyth (Jon) Woughter; grandfather of 10; great grandfather of 8; brother of Tom (Marcia), Lois Lyons, Virginia Solar and Jeanne Richards; survived by several nieces and nephews. Ray retired from Ford as a Journeyman Millwright. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and years ago coached little league baseball. He was a talented left handed bowler, scoring a 299 and loved dancing in his younger days.

Therese of Ortonville was born September 7, 1926; in Stratford, Ontario, Canada to the late Raoul and Olive (McCaffrey) DuCharme; died April 6, 2014 in the comfort of home with family. Preceded in death by loving husband Maxwell L. Sevigny; son Robert M. Sevigny; siblings LoisMacGillvray(Ducharme); Leon DuCharme, Robert DuCharme, MaribethDucharme.Survived by brother Anthony (Shirley) DuCharme of Kitchener, ON; sister-in-law Margaret (Sevigny) Roth of Waterloo, ON; children Maribeth (Stephen) Warner of Clarkston, Nora J. (Joseph W.) Kryza of Fenton, Jayme D. Sevigny of TN, Jennifer L. (Gerald Cooper) Sevigny of Ortonville;daughter-in-law Michelle Sevigny of TN; grandchildren Jill (Michael) Gonzales, Gabrielle (Brook) Webster, Kylene Sevigny, Danielle (Kirk) Winger, Robert Sevigny, Jr., Warren Sevigny, Joseph P. Kryza, Nina Kryza, Maxwell Kryza, James Kryza; great grandchildren Hayden Sanders, Paul and Patrick Pinckney, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Jeanne was lovingly dedicated to her family and lived a life of thoughtful service to others. She retired after working over 26 years in the Brandon School District Kindergarten and Head Start programs. She loved children and music, directing and participating in many choirs. She also loved flowers and birds, and spent her retirement years cultivating flowers and keeping her bird feeders full. She was a kind, gentle soul and will be missed greatly by all who knew her.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stratford, ON.,Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM and she will be interned at the Avondale Cemetery in Stratford at a later date. The family will receive friends at the Parlour Inn (101 Wellington St., Stratford) following the mass to celebrate Jeanne’s life with laughter and love.
